Lindsay Lohan Befriended Murderers In Jail

Proving that Lindsay Lohan had the roughest 13 days in the history of the world, her mother, Dina Lohan talked to the press this morning. She acted like everyone thought jail was a place where we’d all hold hands and sing Kumbaya together. Nope, Dina, we’ve got news for you. Jail is full of criminals and your daughter was right where she belonged.
Now, Lindsay is holding her breath for a quick release from the rehab facility where she’s being treated. She was sentenced to 90 days, but it’s only looking like she will serve roughly half of that.
Dina said, “She’s great. She’s been through a lot. The judge played hardball. Lindsay was in with alleged murderers and she’s become friends with a lot of them. Lindsay rolled with the punches and she’s doing wonderfully.”
She also went on to say that Lindsay doesn’t like the heat, so she’s getting out of the kitchen. Dina said, “California is a wonderful state but it’s a different game you play there, the court system is a little different.”
Of her parental abilities, Dina added, “As a parent, you have to let her go a little bit. When she went out to Los Angeles when she was 19, I had to let her go and let her live and fall and fail and survive. Without failure, there’s no success. I was there in close proximity, but you can’t make your child not go out and go to a club and not get behind the wheel of a car. I certainly don’t condone any of that behavior.”
Nope, all of that was so out of your control, Dina. We wouldn’t want anyone to think she is an actual parent, now would we?

Dakota Fanning Covers Dazed & Confused September 2010

Twilight & The Runaways star Dakota Fanning, 16 graces the September 2010 cover of Dazed and Confused Magazine September 2010. The cover was shot by Mark Segal and styled by senior fashion editor Katie Shillingford.
Dakota at 16 is a seasoned veteran. Who can forget her role in “I Am Sam” in 2001 which was the performance that got her a lot of interest. Dakota has been in a lot of high profile films and eventually began to transition to more grown up films. Dakota was recently seen in “The Runaways” where she played Cherie Currie and plays Jane in “The Twilight Saga.”
Dakota comes across as being sweet without being nauseating. Somehow in the Hollywood world of insanity where a lot of teens Dakota’s age fall to the wayside – Dakota has managed to remain a nice grounded young starlet.

Shakira has been working with theater director Felix Barrett in developing her interactive Tour Of Earthly Delights.
She said:
“I’m going to be in the UK this December working with Felix. He’s one of those golden minds so I’m designing the show with him. It’s going to have themes and there’ll be a lot of audience interaction.
My live show will have a lot of that, a lot of dancing, a joie de vivre. I feel such freedom on stage. It’s such a rush to be performing. I like to see everybody’s faces on stage, to see the reaction. Normally you can only see the front row because of the lights.
You’ll see a lot of the energy you saw during my Glastonbury festival appearance, but there are also going to be other moments that I hope are artistically energetic. I want to feel things up close.
My vibe is to gather different influences from all over and put them together with my own style.”
Inneresting.
Wonder what she’s got in store for us!

R. Kelly’s ‘Echo’ Video: Green Screen And Yodeling
March 29, 2010 by Kyle Anderson
Filed under Celebrity, Entertainment, Fashion News & Gossip
R. Kelly’s Twitter page is a delightful corner of the Internet. While Kells doesn’t reveal a whole lot about himself or share his opinions about much of anything, but lately the singer has made up for it with a stream of phenomenal videos. The clips included previews for his new music video and answers to fan questions, all leading up to the premiere of “Echo,” his latest clip.
Throughout his career, Kelly has become known for elaborate videos and incredible narratives. After all, this is the guy who brought the world epics like “Down Low” and “Trapped in the Closet.” But “Echo” — the latest single from his excellent 2009 album Untitled — is a minimalist gem, featuring little more than Kelly, a pair of sunglasses, some yodeling and a fantastic use of green screen.
“Echo” is a remarkable song, mostly because Kelly yodels in the middle of the chorus. In fact, he apparently got a lot of questions from fans about the yodeling, which is probably why Kelly posted a video explaining why he likes the practice so much. Again, it’s an amazing piece of video that features Kelly in all his Kelly-ness, simultaneously hilarious and serious, down-to-earth and utterly otherworldly.
But where does the minimalist “Echo” rank alongside other Kelly video projects? While “Echo” is wonderful in its simplicity, Kelly is usually better when he’s got size on his side. Classics like “Feelin’ on Yo Booty,” “I’m a Flirt” and “Rockstar” are all flashy and highly cinematic. But after the lengthy fiasco that was “Trapped in the Closet,” maybe this is Kelly’s move to digital DIY. Until anybody suggests otherwise, “Echo” is R. Kelly’s “Inland Empire.”
What do you think of R. Kelly’s “Echo” video? What’s your favorite R. Kelly video? Let us know in the comments!
Lil Eazy-E Remembers His Dad, 15 Years Later

Lil Eazy-E got up early on Friday morning (March 26). The day started with him comforting his grandmother, and all day, he talked about his namesake, his father his father Eric “Eazy-E” Wright, who died 15 years ago from AIDS complications. Lil Eazy knew Eazy-E just as Dad, but he shared his pops with the world.
Eazy was a marketing and record-label genius. He pioneered gangsta rap, and his ear for talent spoke for itself. Besides founding N.W.A and discovering Bone Thugz-n-Harmony, Eazy Sr. put a lot of other viable acts and influenced countless others.
“It was big,” Lil Eazy said of his dad’s influence. “A lot of producers he gave inspiration to. Dr Dre’s a big thing. Eminem’s a big thing. 50 Cent’s a big thing. If you didn’t have my father, you wouldn’t have none of them. Other rappers, if my father didn’t invent Ruthless Records and N.W.A, you wouldn’t have that line. Ice Cube, MC Ren, Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre, therefore Death Row. Death Row was started before any breakup was going on. They’ll get the truth one day on a nice big screen. He had a lot of artists outside the genre of rap. J.J. Fad, Michel’le, Will.I.Am, he was even working with my father. My father found him. A lot of big things.
“His loyal fans give him that credit, but he’s the godfather of gangsta rap. One thing he doesn’t get a lot is the big respect for hip-hop. Eazy-E is a big, big part of hip-hop.”
Although Lil Eazy obviously still misses his dad, the anniversary of his death has become easier to cope with over the years.
“As I got older, it was more of a celebration,” he said about March 26. “I got a lot of strength through support of people. I’m the oldest son, so you gotta be there. Just like this morning, my grandmother had it kinda hard. I don’t know if it’s because it’s 15. Today, I knew she had it hard. I can’t let the morning hit me too hard. Usually, every year, I do a little radio tribute, me and Julio G. It gives a little inspiration. The fans give love and support. It lightens me up. But on my personal tip, it’s not a good day. It’s not.”
Lil Eazy said he’d love to have a biopic on his dad, as he still rides with many of his pop’s CDs in his car. When asked about the fond memories, his smile shone bright.
“People don’t understand, he was a father,” Lil Eazy said. “My grandmother, I was raised by her. Weekends, I got picked up by my father. He picked up all his kids. My father had a lot of kids. Everything was jokes. We’d be over at Grandma’s. He took us on Disneyland trips. That’s when you realize you’re really somebody. All these [other fan] kids? We’re supposed to be having time with daddy. All these kids and all these families wanna take pictures. He bought me anything I wanted. He was a great daddy. He had a lot of time for us.”
Eazy said it was around 5 or 6 years old that he discovered his pops was unlike other dads. Around 8, he sat down with his dad for the first time and gave an opinion on music. Lil Eazy held back tears when talking about the last memories he has of his dad.
“My last one was about when he first went into surgery for leakage in his lungs,” Lil Eazy said. “He went to the hospital. We was chillin’, talking, not understanding he was sick. He was like how he is every other day, eating a hamburger. You’re not supposed to, but you’re eating a hamburger. We was chillin’ in Cedars Sinai. That was the last fondest, good memory. Then I was called in a couple of days before he passed away, and he couldn’t talk. I just walked in, and they let me see him. He couldn’t say nothing. I just cried. As a kid, I couldn’t understand it, why he couldn’t say nothing to me. He’s squeezing my hand as I exited from the room.”
Eazy-E died on March 26, 1995, due to complication from the AIDS virus. Lil Eazy-E said he continues to promote awareness of the disease as well as to help find a cure.
How has Eazy-E’s music impacted your life? Share your memories in the comments section below.

Pam’s an Early Fave on “Dancing with the Stars”

The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” made its debut last night, and we got our first look at the new batch of wannabe hoofers. Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is the early favorite, but that didn’t help Mya last year. This show is as much about fan bases as foxtrots, and you need a lot people voting for you to win.
Octogenarian astronaut Buzz Aldrin is easily the least impressive dancer, but he’s an American hero, and that will get him votes. Unfortunately, there will probably be better dancers going home before he does. Kate Gosselin was also less than stellar, but may have enough fans to keep her in the running. On the other hand, she also inspires a lot of negative feelings.
Sexpot Pamela Anderson had the right moves, and is obviously the most media-worthy contestant this year. She’ll have to work hard to make it to the finals, but viewers will certainly enjoy watching her get there!

Bruce Willis won’t have cosmetic surgery
November 6, 2009 by Roberta
Filed under Celebrity, Entertainment, Fashion News & Gossip

Bruce Willis will never resort to cosmetic surgery to retain his good looks – because he “really doesn’t care” about his appearance.
The Die Hard star, whose ex-wife Demi Moore is rumored to have spent thousands of dollars on improving her body, admits he doesn’t indulge in a skin care routine – and he would never consider going under the knife.
He tells Fox News, “Cosmetic stuff, I am not a fan of it and I know a lot of people are. It’s a big business and anytime you can make a lot of money off something it is going to stick around. I don’t plan on cutting myself up, you would be surprised, there are a lot of male actors that think about it just as much as women do. I don’t think about it very often. I don’t really care.”
But the 54 year old, who wed 31 year old model Emma Heming earlier this year, is adamant he is still in good shape – and feels about half his age.
He adds, “I am surprised when I’m reminded of my age. I still feel like I’m about twenty four years old. I could still whoop a lot of guys a**es if I have to.”

Katerina Graham Interview — JustJared.com Exclusive
November 5, 2009 by Just Jared
Filed under Celebrity, Entertainment, Fashion News & Gossip

Vampire Diaries Katerina Graham just sat down for an exclusive interview with JustJared.com. Here’s what the 20-year-old actress dished:
JJ: Hi, Katerina! How are you?
KG: Before we get started, I want to say I’m a really big fan of your blog and I go on it all the time – like an embarrassing amount of time – I hit up your site so the fact that I’m actually talking to you is a little surreal and very exciting. My publicist was telling me about all these other big interviews and he was, like, “Oh, and Just Jared” – I was, like, SHUT UP! SHUT UP! So thank you for taking the time to talk to me.
JJ: That’s flattering, thank you! And congratulations to you on all the Vampire Diaries success.
KG: Thank you! It’s a pretty surreal thing, to say the least. That kind of stuff doesn’t really happen to me so I’m just kind of taking it in. And I’m out here in Georgia, so there are no Vampire Diaries posters or anything like that. We’re pretty much sheltered – we’re just, like, “Oh, shooting a show” and we’re not feeling the magnitude of it.
JJ: You’re in Georgia right now?
KG: Yeah, I’m in Atlanta – well, I’m in midtown – my little bungalow in midtown.
JJ: Which episode are you shooting now?
KG: We’re in episode 108 (airing November 12). It’s called “History Repeating” and it’s a very heavy episode with Bonnie. I just want to stay in and focus, study my lines, break down my scenes and back story. So I’m going to stay home and be a vegetable. (laughs) Stay in and just stay on your site!
(Click inside to continue reading JustJared.com’s interview with Katerina Graham…)
JJ: There seems to be a lot of females on the set and then there is Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley. How do the guys fit in with the girls on set?
KG: Oh, they’re one of us, honey! (laughs) I’m just joking! I’ll play nice. No, they’re good. They do their own thing – they’re older than us, so they definitely have a different kind of energy. They have a more mature kind of vibe about them. The girls and I, we’re all around the same age, so we go to the movies together and we do things like that together and sometimes they come out with us, but Ian has his life and Paul has his own. But it’s great – they treat us with respect. They come in and do their job.
JJ: Were you around when [photographer] Tyler Shields was doing that photo shoot and all those girls got arrested?
KG: I knew I’d be asked about this! Actually, they invited me but I had someone in from out of town that weekend. I ended up going ATVing and on Monday, I found out what happened and I was shocked.
But I’m playing Bonnie and she’s a very innocent person, but it’s so important that people know I’m not Bonnie. And honestly, if I got arrested and it happened to me, I’m an artist and a bit of an edgy person – I cuss – and I don’t give a f—. I would’ve put my face on my shirt and put “Free Kat” – I don’t take myself that seriously and I would be, like, yeah, it happened, so what? At least my headshot was fierce! I’m like that – I enjoy my life and things happen. You live and you learn and you move on.
But honestly, if I had been with them, I might be shocked that it happened, but because of my image or just how I am, I don’t think it would have affected me that much. I probably would’ve had a good laugh and forwarded my dad the picture and hear him freak out a little bit.
JJ: Tell us about your character, Kim, in The Roommate.
KG: She’s the best friend of Minka Kelly and Aly Michalka from Aly & AJ, who I love – she’s really awesome. She’s basically kind of a fly on the wall and very much possibly an audience’s perspective ’cause I don’t die in the film. Oops! Maybe I do! Too late. And just someone that’s very observant and seeing what’s going on and trying to figure out the strange things that are happening around the campus. It’s not a huge role – hopefully I’ll have bigger ones than that – but it was definitely cool that I could do and I loved working with Leighton Meester because she’s doing music, too, and we’re both on the CW and Aly did music, too, and she’s doing acting and we had a lot of long talks about the perils and the great things about it. I learned a lot working with them.
JJ: Have you heard Leighton’s new single “Somebody to Love“?
KG: It’s really good! I heard a lot of her album ’cause I’ve gone to the studio with her a few times and shoot, her album is sick. I cannot wait for it to come out. And at first, I was skeptical. Even though I’m an actor that’s doing music, I had no right to be skeptical of anyone else.
I’m so dedicated as an artist – when I’m not focusing on working on Bonnie or on set doing stuff for Bonnie, I’m doing music. I bought my own music equipment because no one would produce me – I’ll book my own shows, I’m very guerrilla style – anything. I’m how Kanye [West] was in the beginning. Everyone told him “you can’t do it” and I had to do it myself so I’m very skeptical about actors coming into the game and they’re famous and are, like, “hmm, maybe I’ll be a singer now!”
You know how hard it is to be an artist? And here I am, not famous and busting my a– and they’re just giving it to someone ’cause they’re on a show? But me hearing Leighton’s music, she completely took any skepticism away and I was, like, wow, this is going to be a great album! I would hear her and she would be recording and she can sing, she’s got style, there’s vibes behind this and I’m so excited for the music video for that song – I can’t wait.
JJ: Do you have any Halloween plans?
KG: Gay Pride is having this huge thing the weekend of, so I’m hosting Gay Pride November 1 and then I’m performing at Opera that night, which is hosted by Chris Coleman – he’s a huge promoter for different gay clubs out here.
And then I’m flying to L.A. on the 31st for Heidi Klum’s Halloween party. I think I’m going to be a vampire! (laughs) A high-fashion vampire – super couture with a high collar – ridiculously over-the-top, fabulous, super-trendy vampire and just beat it over the head.
JJ: Thanks for the interview!!!
KG: Thank you! I love your site, I’m on it all the time! I think you’re amazing – I’m honored to be talking to you. It’s the coolest thing out of my week thus far.

Lady Gaga Has A Nasty Cut Fastball: The MTV News Quote Of The Day
November 4, 2009 by MTV News

“I’ve actually been making a lot of Yankee analogies in my interviews lately because I get asked, ‘Do you feel pressure? How do you feel when someone says this? Or do you feel like you have to top yourself?’ I say I do feel like I have to top myself. But I feel like I’m [Mariano] Rivera. I’m a closer.”
-Fashion-forward pop superstar and New York Yankees fan Lady Gaga, explaining who she relates to on the iconic baseball team. The singer sat down for an extended interview with Sway yesterday, where she touched on the new edition of her album, her collaboration with Beyoncé and a whole host of other topics. But Gaga is also a baseball fan, and she sees a lot of herself in Rivera, the Yankees’ famous closing pitcher. After suffering a loss on Sunday night in Philadelphia, the World Series returns to the Bronx tonight for Game 6, where the Yanks will try to shut the door on the Phillies and cash in on their 27th championship. Standing in their way will be Phils starting pitcher Pedro Martinez, who has a longstanding rivalry with the Yanks (he famously referred to them as his “daddy” in 2004). If all goes well for New York, Rivera should be walking onto the field around midnight tonight, and if he really wants to embrace his musical equivalent, he should really ditch his normal entrance music — Metallica‘s “Enter Sandman” — in favor of “Paparazzi.”
