Betty White Would Host SNL – If Asked!

Betty White was recently asked about the Facebook campaign to get the legendary actress on as host of Saturday Night Live and she said that she would be up for it!

“I don’t know where that came from,” says Betty. “That came out of left field. I understand they’ve had all of these hits. That would be up to Lorne Michaels.”

Betty was also happy to report that fellow Golden Girl Rue McClanahan is doing well after suffering a stroke last month:

“Ruesie had a little health problem, but she’s back home in New York and feeling better. I’m delighted and thrilled to report that.”

We’re delighted as well and we love that she calls her “Ruesie!”

With new allegations that Ashley Cole, the footballer husband of pop star Cheryl Cole, was having a raunchy sexting relationship with some random skank, it was only a matter of time before he was knee deep in shiz.

The woman has come forward and revealed that not only did she and Cole sent each other nude pics, but that he would smuggle her into hotels while he was traveling with his team for away games!!!

“Ashley begged me to come to his hotel for sex, but it was like a military operation getting into the room. On both occasions I had to smuggle in a bottle of rosé wine for us to drink in bed because he wasn’t supposed to drink before games. He was petrified of getting caught by his wife AND by Chelsea, but he just couldn’t stop himself taking crazy risks. That must have been part of the thrill for him.”

WTF?? The nasty ho, who claims Cole originally contacted her through a social networking site, was also well aware of his marriage but didn’t seem to let that stop her for traveling hours out of her way to see the douchebag.

“He never once mentioned Cheryl’s name. The papers at the time were saying he and Cheryl were thinking about starting a family, but he skirted round that – he said kids would change your life so much.”

Absolutely disgusting.

If this isn’t enough incentive for you to leave your deadbeat husband, Cheryl, don’t worry – we’re sure all the skanks are just going to come pouring out of the woodwork and announce to the world what Ashley’s been up to!

Brooke Enters Rehab In Malibu!

This could be bad for the prosecution…but good for Charlie!

Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller entered The Canyon rehab facility in Malibu last week for substance abuse and that could drastically affect her credibility in the case against Charlie.

The case ultimately comes down to his word against hers and if Brooke was dealing with substance abuse issues around the time of the incident on Christmas Day the court will likely be less inclined to believe her and the claim that Charlie threatened her life with a knife!

We still think Charlie might be the one to blame in this instance considering his shady past. He might be facing a new show called Two and a Half Years!

Tori Spelling to Write a Children’s Book

Via EW.com  Simon & Schuster — publisher of Tori Spelling’s two previous best-sellers, sTORI Telling and Mommywood —has signed the actress to her first children’s book, Presenting…Tallulah, the tale of a spunky little girl who is constantly told what not to do: not to wear jeans, not to get dirty. Tallulah, illustrated by Vanessa Brantley Newton, goes on sale September 21 (Spelling’s third adult title, uncharted terriTori, will be out in June). “I love reading to my kids. It’s our special time together,” Spelling said. The book’s jacket looks very much like a young Tori.  But the name?  According to S&S, Spelling just likes the name Tallulah.  Source

Nicole And Joel Are Engaged!

While appearing on The Late Show on Monday, Nicole Richie announced that she was officially engaged to her babydaddy Joel Madden.

“Nicole and Joel are in the process of planning the wedding. She’s very involved in every detail. She’s thrilled,” claims a source.

And she even took took to her Twitter to confirm!

Nicole wrote, “Yep. i’m engaged. Very happy. Yeah we’ve been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same.”

We had a feeling this wasn’t a new development!

Brooke Mueller Back In Rehab Over Alleged Crack Cocaine Addiction

Mother-of-two Brooke Mueller – who has 11-month-old twin sons Max and Bob with husband Charlie Sheen – was reportedly admitted to The Canyon rehabilitation centre last Tuesday (09.02.10) for substance abuse after an “out of control” night of partying with her husband.   A source told gossip website Radar Online: “Brooke has been in denial about her problem for a long time.  “She’s smoking crack and she’s drinking heavily. Everyone around her wanted her to get help.   Her mother has been attempting to convince her to go into rehab for a while now.”

Brooke’s return to rehab came just one day after Charlie’s arraignment hearing on felony and misdemeanor charges relating to his alleged assault on her on Christmas Day (25.12.09). However, shortly after the Aspen court visit – which saw terms of a restraining order against Charlie relaxed – the pair apparently partied together in Los Angeles before Brooke was urged to seek help for her problems.

Another source added: “She went on an all-nighter. She was just out of control. They partied that night. She didn’t stop. “It was just more of the same with Brooke. Her mother had been begging her to go into rehab. “It got to the point where even Charlie told her to go to rehab because of their kids. She had one final party, drinking pretty heavily, and Charlie was with her part of the time. But when he left it didn’t stop. The next day she was in bad, bad shape and that’s when she went into rehab.”

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden Are Getting Married!

Socialite Nicole Richie confirmed yesterday (15.02.10) that she is officially engaged to her rocker boyfriend Joel Madden – with whom she has daughter Harlow, two, and five-month-old son Sparrow – when she appeared on ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’, showing off a large engagement ring.   She then joined friends at New York restaurant Abe and Arthurs, where she was overheard talking about her impending nuptials.

A source said: “She was glowing. She was telling her table how happy she was.”   Good Charlotte singer Joel, 30, later confirmed the news – revealing they had managed to keep their engagement secret for some time.   He tweeted: “Yep. I’m engaged. Very happy.  “Yeah we’ve been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same (sic)."  The couple denied that they had plans to marry as late as last year, and were in no plans to rush into tying the knot.

Nicole said: "One day I would love to get married. It’s not something we’re talking about right now. If my kids ask me to get married, I’d get married.  "I think for both of us, we are going to do it because we want to, not because that’s what you do.
